Performance of skills and Crafts by the Kit Carson Mountain Men 10:30 am – 1 pm

Verbal and hands on presentation on the fur trade and special techniques acquired by mountain men. The Mountain Men will have a display of furs, weapons and they appear in their full Mountain Men costumes.

Monotype printmaking demonstration with Katherine Venturelli 11 am – 1 pm

Guitar performance by Herb Boxhorn 11 am – 1 pm

Herb, a guitarist  & vocalist. He is noted for his vocal styles of jazz, blues, and eclectic mix.

Charter and life members of the Oregon – California Trail Association, active members of the “Adopt-a-Trail” program of the USFS. In 2001 they received the CTA Meritorious Achievement Award.

Historian, author of "EYE OF THE BEAR" and "RIVER OF RED GOLD". Her latest book, “Murder on the Middle Fork”, is based on an actual historical murder. Her new book “Rest for the Wicked” is the third novel in her California Trilogy.

Violinist, is a professional musician from Red Bank, New Jersey. She is a regular member of The New Philharmonic of Morristown, New Jersey. She performs as a duo with organist, Camille E. Thompson.
