JUNE 2008
June 22	Monotype printmaking demonstration with Katherine Venturelli 11 am – 1 pm
June 25	Slide show by Jeanne & Bill Watson 8 pm Charter and life members of the Oregon – California Trail Association, active members of the “Adopt-a-Trail” program of the USFS. In 2001 they received the CTA Meritorious Achievement Award.
June 29	Performance of skills and Crafts by the Kit Carson Mountain Men 10:30 am –1 pm Verbal and hands on presentation on the fur trade and special techniques acquired by mountain men. The Mountain Men will have a display of furs, weapons and they appear in their full Mountain Men costumes.

July 2	Slide show by Jeanne & Bill Watson 8 pm
July 6	Guitar performance by Herb Boxhorn 11 am – 1 pm Herb, a guitarist & vocalist. He is noted for his vocal styles of jazz, blues, and eclectic mix.
July 9	Storytelling around the campfire by Naida West 7:30 pm Historian, author of "EYE OF THE BEAR" and "RIVER OF RED GOLD". Her latest book, “Murder on the Middle Fork”, is based on an actual historical murder. Her new book “Rest for the Wicked” is the third novel in her California Trilogy.
July 13	Sketching demonstration by Jason Dunn 10:30 am – 1 pm Jason is an emerging California Illustrator, brings his animals to life through sketching in pen, ink and colored pencils
July 15	Photography Demonstration by Roy A. Clifton 8 pm
July 20	Photography Demonstration by Roy A. Clifton 11 am – 1 pm
July 27	Art demonstration by Ann Harris 10:30 am - 1 pm She is the author of “Wildflowers: Which Name?” and “Wildflowers Wild”, books of rhymes and watercolors. Besides the wildflowers, Ann paints a variety of subjects in watercolor and acrylic.

Aug 3	Art Exhibition & Book Signing by Robert Reynolds 11 am - 3 pm Artist Robert Reynolds is exhibiting new works and recently published coffee table book, “The Art of Robert Reynolds: Quiet Journey” which will be available for signing.
Aug 10	Performance of skills and crafts by the Kit Carson Mountain Men 10:30 am – 1 pm
Aug 13	Violin concert by Pauline V. Bradshaw 7:30 pm Violinist, is a professional musician from Red Bank, New Jersey. She is a regular member of The New Philharmonic of Morristown, New Jersey. She performs as a duo with organist, Camille E. Thompson.
Aug 17	Presentation with Jack Nissen 11 am – 1 pm “I am a self taught wood turner. I turn bowls, platters and vases, large and small, working extensively with salvaged wood of local trees: my object is to reveal, in a pleasing shape, the intricacies and interplay of color, figure, and luster that are hidden within the wood”.
