Our restaurant is open during the season and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday except Monday.
Sunday is a special day at Kit Carson Lodge. We server a breakfast buffet in the morning and a family style B-B-Q dinner outside starting at 2pm.
Our chef provides a remarkable dining experience complimented by an exciting wine list from wineries of the region. This is truly a fine dining experience in an elegant yet casual atmosphere.
Enjoy your meal inside the restaurant or on the deck both with spectacular views of Silver Lake. Reservations for dinner are recommended.
Something new at the lodge is the Sunday Bar-B-Q. Join other guests, staff and owners on Sunday from 2 to 7pm for an old fashioned family style Bar-B-Q. Choose from delicious pork ribs or chicken prepared outdoors by our own Chef Thomas. Includes sides like coleslaw, corn, potato salad, bread and even dessert. Eat on the deck or at a table in front of the lodge.
Meet The Chef
Chef Thomas Ferguson has been all over the place throughout his culinary career beginning with upstate New York in which he started cooking right after high school. This eventually lead him all over New York including Lake George and Placid, thus greeting him with attending culinary school at New York State University. Since then he has worked at resorts all over Idaho and Montana earning him national recipe awards and even a spotlight on PBS television for his accomplishments. Now he’s glad to be able to call Kit Carson Lodge his home.
